| Vaya Con Dios |
 Before
she formed Vaya Con Dios in 1985, Dani Klein had already a long
time singing career behind her. She was backing vocalist with
Catalog of Cool and lead vocalist with Arbeid Adelt.
The story of Vaya Con Dios (Go with the Gods - in Spanish) started in 1986. The
group was formed by Dani Klein, Dirk Schoufs (formely of The Wild Ones) and Willy
Lambregt (formely of the Scabs).
Their first release, the single Just a friend of mine became
an overnight hit (300,000 sold copies in France). However
Willy decided to spend all his time
with the Scabs because Vaya Con Dios wasn't "rock'n'roll" enough
for him. So, Vaya Con Dios recorded the first album with session musicians.
Puerto
Rico and Don't cry for Louie brought them a bigger success. The second album
continued the success story with songs like What's a woman or Nah neh nah.
In 1991, the couple - Dirk Schoufs and Dani Klein - lost interest in each other
and Dirk lleft the band. Soon afterwards he died of a drugs-related infection
disease.
The album, Time Flies, released after one year, was the saddest of them all.
It was entirely a Dani Klein product.
In 1993, the band made a very successful tour around the world. In 1995, the
Muscle Shoals Studios in Alabama released the Vaya Con Dios' album Roots and
Wings. The horn section from Muscle Shoals accompanied Dani on her European tour
in 1996, while her son played the keyboards.
Vaya Con Dios sold over 7,000,000 copies of this albums.
Dani Klein retired from showbizz to travel and "live her life".
After four year Dani Klein made her appearance on the stage with a new band called
Purple Prose. |

| Robin Brock |
 Robin
Brock, as we speak, is working on her second album; writing with
John Capek and Randy Bachman.
Robin's first album, Blame It On The Rock and Roll, written with John Capek,
has received fairly extensive airplay in Canada.
Her first release, She's Outta Control was well responded to nationally across
Canada. Her release party was filmed live and featured on CBC news.
In 1997, Robin performed her song Rockin on the Airwaves in Australia to an audience
of 2,800 people for the South Pacific International Song Contest. She won the
1st Place in the Rock Division.
In 1998 she was part of two international songwriting contests;
The Netherlands Song Expo (Lipstick & Lace) and The South
Pacific International Song Contest (I Lied).
Proudly representing Canada, Robin performed to over 5,000
people daily at The Golden Stag Festival in Brasov, Romania
in 1996. Tom
